　　ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

　　The Human Biology department at the University of Wisconsin – Green Bay seeks applicants for a tenure-track position. Applicants with expertise in biomedical science are strongly encouraged to apply.

　　This position includes the following responsibilities:

　　Teach a course load of 21 credits per academic year, including:

　　Biochemistry lecture and labs

　　Introductory and upper-level courses in Human Biology related to area of expertise

　　Advise students.

　　Perform scholarly activities consistent with rank, including developing a strong research program involving undergraduate students.

　　Perform institutional service and contribute to the ongoing development of the Human Biology department.

　　In addition, the successful candidate will be expected to display a demonstrated potential for excellence in teaching and scholarship, and a commitment to undergraduate education. Additionally, they should possess communication and interpersonal skills sufficient to work effectively with a diverse array of students and colleagues.

　　QUALIFICATIONS:

　　MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

　　Earned doctorate in Biochemistry or closely related field from an accredited institution. ABD candidates will be considered, however an earned doctorate in Biochemistry or closely related field from an accredited institution is a necessary condition for contract renewal.
