　　Post-Doctoral Position in Laboratory of Neuroimmunology

　　Job Description

　　1. Research Activity

　　a. Perform behavioral neuroscience studies related to inflammatory mediators and their downstream targets in the laboratory with cellular, molecular and animal techniques.

　　b. Perform behavioral pharmacology studies in mice administered various drugs systemically or intracerebrally.

　　c. Perform acute and survival surgeries in rodents.

　　d. Collect and process ex vivo biological samples

　　e. Conduct molecular biology studies on expression, modulation and function of genes and signaling proteins.

　　f. Experience in brain immunohistochemistry desirable

　　g. Develop specific design for each experiment and conducts data analysis and presentation.

　　h. Prepare and write manuscripts for publication.

　　a. Communication with faculty and staff within and outside the laboratory.

　　b. Ability to work with others in a highly collaborative manner.

　　b. Microinjection techniques for drug delivery in freely moving rodents.

　　c. Responsible for monitoring laboratory equipment and implementing safety procedures.
