　　Postdoctoral position is available in the laboratory of Dr. Daniel Greif at Yale Cardiovascular Research Center at the Yale University School of Medicine at New Haven, CT, USA. The laboratory investigates the morphogenesis of the blood vessel wall during development, the maintenance of the adult vascular wall and diseases of the vasculature. We aim to apply basic developmental and biochemical approaches to uncover key insights into normal vessel development and the pathophysiology of vascular disease. We currently have projects focusing on the aorta, pulmonary vasculature and cerebral vasculature in development and disease. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in developmental and molecular biology (including prior work with genetically engineered mice), confocal microscopy and a strong interest in vascular biology. Expertise with in situ hybridization is a plus. Candidates must hold a recent MD or PhD or MD/PhD degree (or anticipating such a degree prior to starting the postdoc), have prior publications and be extremely hardworking and motivated to pursue top-notch scientific investigation.
