　　Research Associate Postdoctoral

　　As part of a new measurement science, reference data, and standards to support the development and manufacture of biotherapeutics within the Biomolecular Structure & Function Group, the Institute for Bioscience and Biotechnology (IBBR)/, a joint research institute of the University of Maryland College Park, National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) and the University of Maryland Baltimore, seeks postdoctoral candidate to carry out research focused on the development and characterization of the higher order structure of protein biologics using solution NMR and other biophysical methods. The candidate will additionally be involved in the development of complementary methods for glycan analysis.

　　The Biomolecular Structure & Function Group is located at the Institute for Bioscience and Biotechnology Research in Rockville, Maryland IBBR is well-equipped for the preparation and structure analysis of biomolecules, including a 900MHz NMR spectrometer.

　　Qualifications: Candidates with recent Ph.D. degree in chemistry, biochemistry, or a related field are encouraged to apply. A strong background in NMR spectroscopy is preferred, and experience with protein biochemistry and biophysics would be advantageous.
