　　Assistant Professor in Musculoskeletal Biology

　　The Purdue University College of Veterinary Medicine invites applications for a full-time, academic year, tenure-track Assistant Professor in the Department of Basic Medical Sciences. We seek an outstanding scientist with research experience in the areas of bone or cartilage biology as they relate to musculoskeletal disease or regenerative medicine. The successful candidate will be expected to establish and maintain an energetic, well-funded research program, engage in interdisciplinary and collaborative research, and participate in training of professional and graduate students which will include teaching of systemic physiology or micro anatomy within the professional veterinary curriculum.

　　Applicants must possess a Ph.D. in biology or related field and have demonstrated excellence in in both research and education. Candidates who also possess an additional medical degree (e.g., D.V.M., V.M.D., or M.D.) are preferred.
